The archaeological dig is finished.  Fred Warner is satisfied with the effort and announces that the area can now be excavated by back-hoe for drainage work and a concrete wall which will support the existing foundation at the back of the building.  Upstairs in the tavern, a closet wall is removed from the old entrance to the tavern room by Walt, Dave, Ozzie and Charlie.  This opens up the area and provides more clues to the history of this room.  Fred investigates the crawl space under the front kitchen and learns more about the construction of the building.  Fred also finds a dish fragment from the mid-1800's.
