Volunteers work on the bulkhead entrances to the cellar and also tear out and remove most of the modern kitchen cabinets.  Some electrical wiring is removed and work is started on the future bathroom.  Scrape wood is saved for the wood stove that will be temporarily installed in the front kitchen area.

ROOF SHINGLING IS COMPLETED!  Contractor Mike Cote has nailed the last shingle on the roof of the Squires Tavern today.  We now have a new roof of red cedar shingles which we hope will last for many decades.  A big project and a major area of concern is put to rest.

    122)  Squires Tavern support work - ongoing
Walt Landgraf and Dave Ravasio spend a significant amount of time on critical aspects of the project on almost a daily basis.  This work includes materials research, working with contractors,  meeting with potential contractors and historic experts, meeting with town officials such as the building inspector, analyzing historic aspects of the building as they are revealed during the work, planning and suggesting priorities for work to be done and numerous other tasks.  This work is ongoing and has been especially heavy during the last few months.
