    275)   Painting and yard cleanup -April 21, 2004
                     Volunteers Walt Landgraf, Ted Bachman Charlie Lynes and Paul Hart pick up construction and other debris from the Tavern yard and bring it to the dump (oops...I mean the Regional Refuse Disposal District facility).  Painting contractor Peter Webster continues with interior painting.  Over the last several weeks rooms such as the front parlor, front kitchen and south bedroom  have really been transformed from "under construction" to a much more finished state.

                     Volunteers Walt Landgraf and Charlie Lynes remove wood scraps and other material cleaned from the Tavern and with some fallen branches picked up from around the lawn area, burn it all out back on this wet day.  Earlier in the week, Walt meet with two consulting archaeologist- showing them some of the artifacts recovered from digs around the Squire's Tavern foundation and discussing with them plans for further archaeology work in the future.

                     Painting contractor Peter Webster works on interior painting at the Tavern, including the front parlor, ballroom, south bedroom and front kitchen.  Ceilings, window sash and trim are prepped and painted.  Looking good!
