    Barkhamsted Lighthouse Program

Over at Squire’s Tavern, April 10 and 11, 1-4 pm, BHS will host a Barkhamsted Lighthouse program.

At 1:30, archaeologist, Dr. Kenny Fedor, will present a Lighthouse Lecture & Tour. After the lecture, he will give a guided tour of the Barkhamsted Lighthouse Archaeological Preserve site to show the foundations, cemetery, and gravestones. Kenny is a fascinating speaker and enthusiastic archaeologist.

Because seating is limited, reservations are recommended for the lecture; donation is $5. Call Sharon Lynes for more information: 860-379-7362.

During the afternoon, BHS is also hosting Tavern tours and a book release for the new publication, Barkhamsted Lighthouse, by Dr. Fedor. He will be available to sign your copy, which will sell for $12 during this weekend.

The 24-page booklet, Barkhamsted Lighthouse, tells the story of the Lighthouse community, and the archaeological research by Dr. Fedor and his team.
