educational program. Former Barkhamsted First Selectman and BHS volunteer Mike
Fox will tell the story of the 1914 murder of Hurbert B Case. Mr. Case was a
life long resident of Barkhamsted, Chairman of the Board of Litchfield County
Commissioners and for nearly forty years, Treasurer of the Town of Barkhamsted.
He also owner of the Case General Store in the Barkhamsted Hollow where the
crime took place.
Mike Fox has done extensive research into the
murder of Mr. Case and the subsequent trial that ensued. Who were the
perpetrators and what was their motive? Join us Friday for the answer to these
questions and more.
The Barkhamsted Senior Center is located on West
