    Murder in the Hollow!

Please join us this Friday night, 7:00 PM  April 9th, 2010 at the Barkhamsted Senior Center for what promises to be a fascinating educational program. Former Barkhamsted First Selectman and BHS volunteer Mike Fox will tell the story of the 1914 murder of  Hurbert B Case. Mr. Case was a life long resident of Barkhamsted, Chairman of the Board of Litchfield County Commissioners and for nearly forty years, Treasurer of the Town of Barkhamsted. He also owner of the Case General Store in the Barkhamsted Hollow where the crime took place.
Mike Fox has done extensive research into the murder of Mr. Case and the subsequent trial that ensued. Who were the perpetrators and what was their motive? Join us Friday for the answer to these questions and more.
The Barkhamsted Senior Center is located on West River Road in Pleasant Valley section of Barkhamsted.
